MANCHESTER City star Mario Balotelli has a new celebrity pal - Rihanna's ex Drake.
Mario, who's a huge hip-hop fan, invited the 25-year-old rapper, who enjoyed a short-lived fling with Rih in 2009, to watch him in action against Sunderland after hearing he was in Manchester for a gig.
And after his team's 3-3 draw on Saturday, Mario treated Drake to a curry in the city centre.
Drake paid tribute to Mario at his gig at the MEN Arena on Sunday, describing him as a "new family member".
He told the audience: "No matter what team he's in, he's an amazing footballer."
Mario had allowed Drake to use his executive box at City's Etihad Stadium to watch the game.

And Drake later posted a photograph on Facebook page We Are Business, showing him sitting inside the stadium and wearing a City jacket.
City manager Roberto Mancini, who said recently he doesn't "trust" Balotelli, will be pleased to hear the player stayed away from Drake's official after party at the Bijou Club, which was attended by Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas and QPR player Shaun Wright-Philips.
Bijou boss Damien Matto said Drake loved the club and the atmosphere had been "fantastic".

Balotelli has attracted a number of other celebrity pals in recent months, including Noel Gallagher and The Only Way Is Essex hunk Mario Falcone.
